One mama’s closet cleanout is another mama’s new favorite find!

We’re bringing the PSS community together for another wonderful morning of shopping, swapping, and giving back at our PSS Style Swap!

Have beautiful pieces sitting in your closet that deserve a second life? Those jeans that never quite fit? A dress you’ve only worn once? Or children’s clothing your little ones have already outgrown?

Bring them along, share them with another mama, and head home with some new-to-you favorites!

And the best part? All remaining items will be donated to Emily’s Place, a local nonprofit providing long-term transitional housing for women and children who have fled domestic violence. Through housing, education, counseling, and career development, Emily’s Place helps families rebuild their lives and work toward lasting stability and independence.

How It Works

1. Clean Out Your Closet

Gather a minimum of 10 gently used items to contribute to the swap.

You’re welcome to bring women’s clothing, children’s clothing, and baby gear. Your 10 items can be a combination of any of these categories.

2. Arrive & Unload | 10:00–10:30 AM

Please arrive between 10:00 and 10:30 AM to check in, unload, and organize your contributions before shopping begins.

All attendees must check in at the Life Time front desk first. Once you’ve checked in, you can drive around to the side of the building, where you’ll see the PSS signage directing you to the unloading area. You’ll be able to unload your items directly into the gym.

To help everything run smoothly, please arrive with your contributions pre-sorted into bags by category and size.

For example:

  • Women’s Tops | Size Medium

  • Women’s Dresses | Size Large

  • Women’s Pants | Size 6

  • Toddler Girls | 2T–3T

  • Baby Boys | 6–12 Months

  • Baby Gear

Clearly labeling your bags will make it easier to find the appropriate tables and keep the shopping experience organized for everyone.

Each attendee is responsible for placing their own items on the appropriate tables. Tables will be organized by category and size, so please allow enough time to unload, sort, and display your contributions before shopping begins promptly at 10:30 AM.

3. Shop the Swap | 10:30 AM–12:30 PM

Once everything is organized, it’s time to shop!

Browse clothing, discover new favorites, and enjoy a little closet refresh without the retail price tag.

There is no limit to the number of items you may take, but we ask everyone to shop thoughtfully and be considerate of others. Please avoid collecting large piles of items or setting things aside before you’ve had an opportunity to look through them.

We want everyone to have a chance to find something they love!

What to Bring

We’re accepting the following:

Women’s Clothing

  • Casual everyday clothing

  • Dresses, blouses, skirts, and pants

  • Workwear and professional attire

  • Church clothing and dressier pieces

  • Seasonal clothing and outerwear

  • Athletic wear

  • Maternity and postpartum

  • Women’s shoes in good condition

Children’s Clothing

  • Baby, toddler, and children’s clothing

  • Everyday outfits and seasonal pieces

  • Gently used jackets and outerwear

  • Baby and children’s shoes

Baby Gear

  • Clean, gently used baby and toddler essentials

  • Items in excellent, working condition

  • Unopened diapers, wipes

  • Children’s toys and books

Clothing Condition Requirements

Please be selective about the items you bring!

All clothing must be clean, gently used, and in excellent condition.

We cannot accept:

  • Clothing with stains, tears, holes, or excessive wear

  • Items with noticeable pilling, fading, or stretching

  • Clothing with odors, including smoke or mildew

  • Broken or damaged baby gear

  • Items that are heavily worn or unsuitable for another family

A good rule of thumb: If you wouldn’t feel comfortable giving it to a friend, please don’t bring it to the swap.

We want this to feel like a fun shopping experience filled with quality pieces that other moms will genuinely be excited to wear. If you feel it’s an item that can simply go straight to donation, please just take it straight to a local donation box.

Emily’s place is not an emergency housing shelter. The clothing that they need should be in good condition and able to be worn for professional attire.

Bringing the Littles? We’ve Got You!

Life Time’s Kids Academy will have a special activity station set up for children to enjoy during the event!

A childcare staff member will be present to help facilitate activities. However, this is not a drop-off childcare service, and parents or guardians are expected to remain present and actively supervise their own children.

Our recommendation? Bring Dad, Grandma, or another family member!

They can hang out with the littles and enjoy the activities while you browse the swap and spend some time with the other mamas.

Giving Back to Emily’s Place

At the end of our Style Swap, all remaining items will be donated to Emily’s Place, a local nonprofit serving women and children rebuilding their lives.

Their clothing needs are particularly focused on clean, quality pieces suitable for everyday life, church, school, job training, and professional opportunities.

We encourage you to keep this in mind when choosing what to contribute. Thoughtful donations can make a meaningful difference for the women and families they serve.
