Back by popular demand after such a hit last year.

Join us for our 2nd Annual PSS Style Swap—a community favorite designed to help refresh your closet, clear out the clutter, and pass along pieces that still have so much life left in them.

This year, the swap will take place alongside our 2nd Annual Dad Walk, making it the perfect combo event while the dads take the littles out for a scenic walk together. Participation in the Dad Walk is absolutely not required to attend the swap, but it makes for such a fun and easy setup for everyone involved.

This is a great opportunity to clear out not only your own closet, but also baby and kids clothing, books, toys, maternity pieces, and items your family has simply outgrown or no longer needs.

Any items remaining after the swap will be donated to Emily’s Place, a local transitional housing organization supporting women and children rebuilding after domestic violence. Emily’s Place has become such a meaningful partner within our PSS community, and we love being able to extend the life of these items to families who may truly need them.

What’s included:

Community clothing + kids swap experience

Women’s clothing, maternity, baby + kids items

Books, toys, and baby gear welcome

A sustainable and intentional way to refresh your space

Donation of leftover items to Emily’s Place

Social time with the PSS community

How It Works:

  1. Bring what you no longer need
    – Gently loved women’s clothing, baby + kids clothing, maternity items, books, toys, and baby gear
    – Shoes and accessories welcome
    – No men’s clothing or home goods
    – Please ensure all items are clean and in good condition

  2. Drop off your items at check-in
    – Volunteers will help direct where items belong
    – Tables will be organized by category and size

  3. Shop the swap
    – Browse the tables and take home pieces that are new-to-you
    – You may take any number of items; it does not need to match the amount you bring

  4. Enjoy the refresh
    – A simple way to clear clutter while giving items a second life

Details:

  • Minimum of 10 items required to participate

  • Clothing must be washed and neatly folded

  • Please keep matching baby clothing sets organized together
    – Zip bags labeled with size/category are especially helpful

  • Please keep dresses, jackets, and blazers on disposable hangers if possible

  • Tables will be clearly marked by category and size

  • Bring reusable bags, a cart, or a wagon if donating larger quantities

  • Swap begins promptly at 9:30AM

  • Item organization/setup will take place between 9:00AM–9:300AM
    – Please arrive on time if participating and plan ahead if “Dad” needs assistance before the Dad Walk.

  • Swap ends at 12:00PM

  • Remaining items will begin being packed away for donation at the end of the event

  • Any tubs, bins, reusable bags, or personal sorting materials must be taken home afterward
    – PSS is not responsible for leftover materials

  • Tickets are non-refundable

My favorite method for prepping beforehand is keeping a donation bin or box in my closet, nursery, and playroom throughout the season. As I come across items while cleaning or organizing, I simply add them to the bins over time. Pre-sorting everything into labeled paper or reusable bags by size and category makes unloading so much easier once you arrive.

A thoughtful, sustainable, and community-centered morning that somehow always feels part social event, part closet reset, and part treasure hunt in the best way.
